Why not join us? This is by no means serious Nordic Walking, more like a combination of Fell Walking, Nordic Walking and Rambling. So don't be under the impression you would be out of your depth if you came along. Walking is very good for the heart, lungs and leg muscles along with the arm muscles if you use poles. The walks also take in some great views of the Kent countryside. Each walk is at a different location every week and we make full use of the Public Footpaths and Priveleged Paths through fields and woods. We have a mish mash of regular walkers with ailments such as ME, Parkinsons and the usual back problems!. So you don't have to be super fit to walk. The pace of each walk takes everyone into account and is usually steady enough to get those legs and lungs working without exhausting you. You won't be left straggling - we like to keep the group together at every stage. Some like to chin-wag and some prefer just taking in the sights, sounds and fresh air as they walk along, the choice is yours. So, why not give it a go? If your considering taking up any kind of fitness then this could be the 'kick start' your looking for?.
